I have 2 jacks in the front panel for microphone & sound and then 4 or more at the back including 1 each for sound & microphone.

My LCD (Samsung 32" LCD TV 720p) is connected to the PC with HDMI cable (I have Radeon HD 4800 Graphics card) thus it includes sound & picture.

Now I want the sound to come to the headphones not to the LCD speakers.

I connect the sound cable of my headphones in the green plug in the front panel or at the back panel but still the sounds keeps coming from the LCD speakers.

Please help....

Uh, turn the volume down on your TV.

Don't use those plugs from a MB if you care about quality at all. At least get a cheap USB sound card or if you can afford it a USB DAC.
