when i first booted up this new machine i swear in the bio's it showed the processor as it is (Retail boxed P4 2.53 GHz 533 FSB) The MB is a new Intel® Desktop Board D845PEBT2 (Blue Mountain)with DDR333 support. I have 512 of PC 2700 DDR. The bios only see's 266 and not 333 in the memory. I have tried various solutions like resetting the bios, flashed to newer bios, The bio's shows the processor as 400 fsb 1.90Ghz but i know its a 2.53GHZ as it say's so on the chip itself, its retail boxed also. Mmmmmmmm i'd like to run what i purchased, LOL I also contacted Intel and yet to recieve an answer. I thought someone might have an answer here. Intel has really simple bio's with hardly any options for setting your own specs. not even a decent MB manual. Buts its very stable so far. I have had this problem on other boards but its usually a bio's setting or a board jumper. Usually the MB book explains the procedure very well (MSI, Biostar) but this MB? NOT so guys give me some answers..........i checked the net, not much help.
