Integrating two wireless networks?

ok, i just moved in with my friend. He has DSL and a wireless network with his wireless router. I am getting cable and will have a wireless network with a wireless router. we want to be able to share files and play LAN games and such. how would we be able to do this? Is there like a wireless switch or something to connect both our networks together? or would we just have to VPN or something? Thanks!

you need to connect your networks with a wire (lan port to lan port) and turn off DHCP on your routers.

Set router 1's lan port to be 192.168.0.1/255.255.255.0, set router 2's lan port to be 192.168.0.254

assign your static IP's in that 192.168.0.X range, and set your default gateway to 192.168.0.1, and your friends to 192.168.0.254. Should be able to see each other now, and have independent links to the internet.
