Hey I need to build my parents a new computer. There main use for it is email, web surfing, word processing, and so forth. I would like to get at least an 800 Mhz to make it last for a while. Wants a good and cheap motherboard to get? Thanks in advance.

i would say go for an onboard system, its cheaper,

BUT
- less reliable cause you can'r configure it a lot
- if something breaks on the motherboard you have to replace it

For Intel, I suggest the MSI 815E Pro.
For AMD, BioStar M7VKF
