integrated sound = laggy?

My comp I recently purchased from a fellow anandtecher has been running quite well, except for one thing. Every time the processor processes something the streaming music will lag just a little bit, making the song very annoying to listen to.

Any suggestions? The comp is in my sig.
 
Alot of the onboard audio stuff like on the asus you have listed is driven with the system's main CPU (you could say software driven vs hardware driven). If you put the CPU under a high enough load the sound is bound to drop out while waiting for the CPU to have time to process it. Having a sound card with its own processor should fix it.
