With 3D Games or Flas movie or another scene.

i have realtek alc888 chip with R2.54 driver
Gigabyte p55 ud3r f8 bios
i5 750 and patriot 1333 c6.

All sorts of things can cause the stuttering.
Are you overclocking? What video card? What drivers for the video card?

I'm just trying to figure out how he came up with the sound causing video and game play stuttering?

OP did you pull a dedicated sound card and now have stuttering issues? Or has this always been using the onboard sound?

Sure, it could be, but another driver or issue is more likely (such as graphics driver or software/codec glitch).

Try the R2.55 driver from Realtek.
