I have a Lumia 920 and "used" to have a wireless charger for it. I returned it not even a week later because it jacked up the battery. I don't know what it was or what happened but when I would charge it with the wireless charger my stand by battery time was 4 hours. I had to send my phone for a warranty replacement because of this. I would not recommend nor bother with a wireless charger for a phone.

I have a 920 and 3 wireless chargers for it that I use multiple times a day with it and have never had an issue. Sounds like something was jacked wit your phone, but it's not a common issue by any means.

That whole "it's to make the phone thinner" thing has always been a crock. Look at the HTC 8x. The Verizon version is the exact same size as the AT&T version, despite the fact that only the Verizon version has wireless charging.

Love the wireless charging on my 928. Won't go back to something without it after this.
