Yo my car is acura integra gsr vtech. I was cruisn the strip and rolled next to a gto the guy starts revin askin me to race and I tell him its a gsr. he still think he is fast so we race when the light turns green he spins the tires and goes while im still heatin mine up at the stoplight.

I make it to the next redlight and line up next to him again, this time with my tires warm and sticky. i rev to aboy 6k and take off, he gets about a car and a half off the line and starts to pull even harder. I shut down at 80 and he was a good 4-5 busses in front of me.

Indeed! There are some Integras in the wild, 10 and 11 second cars, that will take a stock GTO, but they are somewhat rare, and only an idiot would post something like this on teh internets :D

Just for fun :

10.1 1/4 means this thing is faster than basically any stock vehicle out there. Though I think it'd be far easier (and more drivable) to make a 10-second GTO vs. the amount of building it takes to make a 10 second Integra.

Man, I'd rather have that tuned Supra in lane two in this video though, 10.3 is nothing to be ashamed of, and I'd wager that it's 100x more drivable and practical than the teg.

Here's a quote from an even better kill story from that thread...

I had a ricer experience just a few minutes ago! Taking a late lunch, pulling into Chick-fil-A, and this punk in a HellifIknow (it was mostly black with lots of... ummm... body-kit stuff and a triplane wing - sounded like a really loud kazoo) was waiting to pull out. He had a cup on his roof so I hit my brakes and rolled down the window. Sticking my arm out, I got his attention and pointed to his roof, then pointed to my own roof and then at his again. Guess that's a universal "Hey! You with your hat on backward but crooked. I am insulting you!"

Anyhow, he starts revving on me and then chirps his front tires, only moving about two feet but pouring like 24 oz. of brown soda across the roof and down the back glass.

A split-second later, when he realized what happened, he glared at me like I had tricked him somehow and it was my fault, and then he gives me the finger (maybe because I was now LOL?) and he makes a cacophonous but poky exit.

Guess he showed me.

Or something...

EDIT: It sounds like it could have been St. Jimmy himself.

Go American cars *who ho*!

I know this wasn't a race or anything, but it seems like people in domestic cars are smarter in these situations overall....

Lol, these sound all too true for my area.

There are a TON of modded Civics, Integras, Sentras, Accords, Eclipses, Celicas, Jettas, etc. all through my part of Connecticut. I'm sure there are plenty elsewhere, but at times, it seems like they all flock here...

I drive a 2003 Chevrolet Malibu. It's black, it has a sunroof, and a short, stock spoiler. It's a sedan. I GUESS it could look kinda sporty from the right angle, but it's a family car. It has absolutely no modifications (unless better-than-the-junk-the-shop-puts-in oil, oil filter, and air filter count for much...). If I pull up next to one of the above-mentioned at a light, they feel the need to rev their engine up to 4-6k to get my attention. Why? I don't know.

The funny thing about this area is most of the cars have a few decals, some aftermarket head and tail lights, and a loud exhast tip... nothing else. A few of the cars actually have soem work done to them (usually a turbo and related parts), but they're quite rare. There's nothing more satisfying than taking off the line next to one of those and putting the stock V6 to good use. ;)

Not many ricers in my area, but we do have plenty of guys in full-size V8 trucks that are modded enough to make a harley sound like a mosquito. They regularly lay rubber and smoke, even in front of the county courthouse. One t-boned a mother and 7-year old daughter a couple of months back, killing them. Idiots can drive *ANY* kind of vehicle, not just puny imports. It's just more dangerous when someone is throwing 5,000+ lbs at you, with a bumper that is even with your head.
