I intalled a second hard drive on my computer. My master drive has XP pro installed on it. I want to install Windows 98 on my second hard drive but whenever I run setup it wants to intall on the XP(master) dirve. Once I get 98 installed on the seconde hard drive I wans to dual boot between the two OS. But whenever I read something it says to install 98 first. I have partition magic. Do I have to create a ms-dos boot partition somewhere that bothe OS can see? I want to keep the XP hard drive on NTFS. Thanks for your help!

First thing if you want to be able to have each OS access each other files. Then you will need to run FAT32 for both OS. In other to duel boot you will need to install Win98 first then install XP on the other drive. You could do it another way but it's a little more pain in the neck.
