Int. modem and on board audio controller problem with Win2K.

I just installed win2K and I realised that I do not have drivers for my Aztec int modem(msp3880sp). The OS recognises this as a PCI communication device , under miscellaneous.

And It checks for a modem only on COM1 and COM2. In win98, the modem is at COM3.

Also, I use the on board sound controller (Asus k7v). I installed the Win2K drivers for it but it still does not initialise when I start up.

Anyone help me to get this fixed?

Don't know about your sound controller, but as for the modem I think you may have answered your own question when you stated you don't have the drivers. I had the same exact thing happening with my internal modem (not the same as yours) until I obtained the W2K drivers from the manufacturer. If Aztec dowsn't have one for download, try contacting them to see if maybe they have a beta release.

Once I got the drivers, Win2K dynamically assigned my modem to the next available COM port upon installation (COM5 for me).
