I'm building a computer for somebody. Don't worry, I've already made it clear that I'm not Mr. Tech Support. I want to be sure that I'm not going to build the machine, then have them decide that they don't want it for any reason, and back out of the deal. I don't want to be stuck with a bill for a bunch of parts I just bought for his machine, and new ones to upgrade the ones I took out of mine. I'm already going to require a deposit of maybe $200, but I'd like even more security. Toyed with the idea of 100% deposit, but I think that would be intimidating and might cause him to back out of the deal. I thought about drawing up a contract, but he's under 18 so that's a no-go. Any ideas?
