Insuring a Laptop?

Well, tomorrow is the day....
Fedex should be bringing my laptop (and Axim X5) that i won on ebay!
It's my first lappy, and i'll be using it on campus in the fall--this got me to thinking, is it possible to buy some sort of theft insurance for something like that, and if so, where would i go about getting it from?

you can usially register it with your school

other then that IDK< it might fall under homeowners

If you have homeowners insurance that might turn out to be your best bet.

I was able to get my T41 and engagement ring in its own policy...

Roughly $80 a year to protect it and the ring, not bad at all.

You can get insurance for it at any insurance company. It doesn't cost that much.

That's what I have except instead of homeowners its renters. That is your best bet.

You might be able to find a company that provides property and casulty insurance for specific items. But if not, your best bed is for renters, homeowners.
