Aflac coverage through work, I need to sign up by tomorrow morning (I've had a week to 'think about it'). This is to supplement the free Blue Cross PPO health insurance.
"Personal Accident Expense" $22/month
"Personal Cancer" $32/month
"Hospital Protection Ages 18-39" $31/month
"Disability" Varies/month, normally $20/month
There's some other ones but I won't even bother.
Basically would pay me cash if I were disabled, injured OFF the job, in the hospital for certain things, etc. There's all types of terms, and rates. If you're in the hospital, and I had all of these plans together I would probably get thousands of dollars a day, but it's just not worth it.
I'm thinking of simply getting the disability and that's it, possibly the accident expense.
