Could they possibly get any more f**k&^g lame. I sat there and paid thousands of dollars throughtout the years. Then my son had a bicycle accident and needed dental implants. Well I got them and then was told that since my employment status went from full-time to part time that my family is only covered for emergencies. They counted the implants as cosmetic.
Well in light of all this I put in my two weeks notice at work. As it turns out, in very fine print I signed saying that if my employment status changes, I either remain on the same insurance policy if I get a promotion/raise. Or reduced coverage for a demotion in pay and/or hours.
I found this way too unethical that my employer could screw me over so badly that I just had to call it quits over there. A note to the wise, you all should double check your insurance policies before you get stuck paying thousands :|.
<----- Shopping around for a new insurance carrier that will cover medical/dental. Any good idea's peeps?
