Instructions on installing a Globwin FOP38/Modifying the FOP38?

Hey guys, i'm going to buy getting my duron700/abit kt7a/Globwin Fop38 in the mail soon. I heard some reports that the FOP38 can damage your cpu and that you have to modify it, is this true? Also, this is going to be my first time installing a hsf, so does anyone know of any websites that have good instructions (especially ones with nice big pictures) on how to install/modify the FOP38?

Freak now you got me scared to take the damn thing off =)
I was gonna swap out my 850 @ 9.5 x 105 ( 1 Gig ) for a real one gigahert.

I remember when I put it on..... boy my thumbs were sore for hours.
