Instead of Rambus

Hi,

Instead of RDRAM, I was thinking about using DDR SDRAM in my next PC. Does anyone know when that kind of RAM is coming out and what mobos are necessary to use it on?

Thanks from a newbie,

I'm not sure of exact dates, but I do believe there should be DDR out in late Q3/early Q4. The chipset makers supporting DDR are Micron, ALi, VIA, and AMD. Expect to see motherboards based on those chipsets released in the same timeframe as DDR.
