Instant Photostreaming from ipad(s) to macbook slideshow.

I am helping to together a school event that is involving a red carpet with some of the students acting as paparazzi with their ipads (our school system has a 1:1 ipad program) and taking photos of the people who are entering for the event.
We would like to have the photos taken with either 1, or even better, a few ipads to my Macbook running a slideshow via Airplay to the Applet TV.
Any help would be great!!

Edit: I have thought about having the photos I take automatically get backed up to Bitcasa, Dropbox, or Google Drive and the slideshow would monitor only the folder that the photos are arriving in... Not sure if that would work, as I'm currently away from the school.

So, I see 3 different work-arounds for this:
Either you and every iPad have the same icloud address set up on your computers and you project the general photostream
Or you and every iPad are in the same shared stream, allowing the students to publish pictures (this would require iOS 7 on all iPads, and students to approve and send pictures instead of doing it automatically, which is both good and bad)
Or you use a different workaround (IFTTT, dropbox, google drive) to get the pictures.

I must confess I've tried none for instant sharing, but I hope you have some time to check it and let us know if one or none was good for you ^_^
Just keep in mind that you would need a strong wifi network if you're gonna have too many students on this, since every picture is around 5 mbs and uploading speeds are not as good as you may think

Thanks for the suggestions. I do have some time to test this out, and it will only be three ipads tops for the event. We will also be using our school network which has a very good speed when the school isnt populated by students and their ipads. I will try some of these suggestions and let the community know what I end up doing!
