I have an Asus A7V600 and one of its features is something called instant music which allows you to play music without the need to boot into windows. I havnt bothered experimenting with it but was wondering what use it was?

Also wondering how its works cos how do you not boot into windows with power on it boots automatically i know you could bring up the boot menu or go into the bios etc but that seems silly so does it just require the power to be on at the back but without the pc being switched on if you see what i mean....in which case how does that work as surely you would only be able to change CDs when its switched on normally and also not booting into windows or anythign means u have no EQ unless u have one of those tasty expensive soundcards with external controls meaning the sound could be crap...so whats the point is this just a feature for features sake just to make it seem better?
