Ok, I have duel boot system with Windows 98se and Windows 2000pro installed on the C Drive (not a great idea). Windows XP does not allow upgrading from more then one OS installed. So, when I try and install XP I select fresh install. I tell XP to install the installation files on my G drive. So I can format the C Drive when I am in MS-DOS installation setup. It shows all my partitions on my drive, but there is no option to reformat it, you can delete a partition though. And can install windows XP on a partition but I?m not sure if you can format it first.

EDIT: I have been to MS website and looked for support, they wanted my prodect key for windows xp, but i didnt finish installing it and can retrieve it.

Use the delete option as long as you have backed up your data and do not need the W98 and W2000 installations.
