Installing XP on SCSI disc

How do I install XP on a SCSI disc. I'm re-installing the OS on a fairly old dell workstation (Precision 650) with a 36gb SCSI drive. I've formatted the drive through the SCSI controller, but Windows Setup does not recognize the disc as a choice to intall windows.

Are there any special steps I have to go through for this setup?

Figure out your SCSI controller beforehand so you can have drivers on disk. Then do the "F6" during install.
