Installing XP on an old laptop

Weird Issue,

It formats the HD, it loads the files but then when it reboots to install XP, I have a NTLDR is Missing.

But Xp has not installed yet? hmm

Any Ideas?

Its a PIII 600mhz laptop nothing amazing :O

Try deleting all existing partitions first.

Well fixed it some stupid Bios option. I actually installed Ubuntu Netbook remix on it. Its working well so far. though slowly ha takes 3 min to start up, but once firefox is launched it scrolls through pages good, I just need it for 5 hours tomorrow since my laptop is in the shop now.
