Installing WinXP Pro on a T20

nothing needs to be done, it works fine with a standard install. But you'll want to install the software the OSD software that shows things like volumn level when u use the buttons on the keyboard
 
Another quick question...Right now i'm running Win98SE w/ 128 mb RAM. How well (or how terrible) will WinXP run? Am i better off sticking to Win98SE until i buy more RAM? Thanks for the help.
 
Windows XP Pro runs like a charm on a T20, as long as you have at least 256 MB of RAM. The T20 doesn't have an integrated WiFi antenna, though, as the T23 was the first model with that feature.

Oh, and you might want to get the latest drivers from this website.
 
Thanks. I just ordered an additional 256mb ram along w/ a wifi card and router 🙂 I should be set in no time. thanks for the driver link.
