Installing winXP on a old computer

I havea a old dell ( Pentium2 233mhz 64mbsdram, 4 gig HD). Can i even install winXP on that computer? If i can will the computer be very slow?

You will be held back by the hard drive more than anything else because of low areal density.

While you can install WinXP on a system like that, I don't recommend it.

Win XP needs about 256MB of RAM to work smoothly, with 64MB it will constantly swap to HD.

As Andy said, the Hard Drive is probably slow to begin with. As a result, it probably will not be very functional
