Installing Windows XP Problem

I already have Windows x64 installed, but it didnt support any of my components, so I bought Windows XP home edition, and when i boot from disk, it says there is a corrupt file. What do I do? Should I format or something??

corrupt file on the cd? Try a different cdrom player.
