Installing Windows Home Server From USB Hard Drive

I am building a file server and don't plan on needing a DVD drive. The only reason I'd buy one would be to install Windows. Is it possible to BUY windows home server and then just turn it into an ISO and putting that ISO onto a USB drive and booting from that drive?
