Installing windows 98 after windows 2000?

Hello.. I recently installed windows 98 on a drive on my system and I was wondering how to get it into the windows 2000 boot loader.. I tried to manually put it in but every time I try and boot up in win98 I just lock up right after the boot loader.

here is my boot.ini file.

[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINNT
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINNT="Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional" /fastdetect
F:\="Win98"

yeah its on my F drive (win98 is)
might someone give me their boot.ini file that is doing this?

thanks.

Install Win98, then boot up off the Win2K CDROM and select the Repair option. That will repair the boot menu and allow you to select which OS to boot to.

I think icculus is right, but FWIW, here's my 98/2000 boot.ini:

[boot loader]
timeout=3
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINNT
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINNT="Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional" /fastdetect
C:\ = "Microsoft Windows"

Yep, that's how I like my timeout
