Installing Win98SE on RAID drive - bad idea?

I was thinking of running Windows on one of the 2 Raid drives (raid 0 striping) since I only have 2 hard drives, but was thinking this would impair performance.
Am I losing my mind?? Would it be better?

Should I get a cheap 3rd drive for the ATA 66 controller (KT7-RAID) and stick win98se on it instead.

Not a bad idea at all. I ran my PC for months like that until I got another hard drive. 🙂

Bozo 😀
