installing win8 on ext.ssd using mac:/

So, i am building a new pc and want to install win 8 on it. i have the download links and win key but don't have a win laptop/pc right now.
is there a method to install win 8 on the ssd and then put in my new pc?
also, i am still waiting for a couple of parts for my pc so bootable pendrive is not possible too.

PS: i am in a hurry coz i am buying this key from ebay and want to test it out asap.

You need to install Windows on the hardware where it will be running. You can download the installation files on a different computer but need to run the installer on the computer where it will be actually be used.

The exception to this would be in a large deployment environment where you might create a single system image that will be copied to multiple other identical computers, but that doesn't really apply in your situation, and wouldn't work on a MAC anyway.

I guess I will have to wait for my pc parts before installing windows.
