Installing Win2k

I want to install Windows 2000 on a partionned HD, is it possible? Because, when I want to install it in my C, for instance, it tells me "Setup was unable to install the Boot Loader". Is there any way to install it without having to destroy my partitions or without upgrading my Win9x?

Thank you

I think that means you have a burned copy of Win2k and it wasn't copied correctly, so the boot up portion of the CD isn't work properly.

im assuming ur win9x is on your C drive. Insert ur win2000 CD while in win9x. It will ask u if u want to upgrade. Click no. Select install n click the option to perform a clean install.

During installation of win2k u will get a cpl of dialog box with 2 customize button. One of those gives u the option to select the partition u want to install win2k in.

Hope it helps
