Installing Win Xp Pro from scratch if its a upgrade version.

i have a copy of win xp pro upgrade.

i want to do a clean install on my system and was wondering if i could install xp pro first and then pop in a cd for win 98?
or do i have to install win 98 first and then install win xp pro?
 
boomerang is right. The XP Pro upgrade version IS the full version but requires a qualifying OS to install. So, when the install says it can't find a qualifying product, pop in the Win98 cd.
