Here's the setup...

Opteron 146
1 gig RAM
WD 74gb Raptor SATA HD
Samsung 160gb SATA HD
Samsung ATA CDROM
Samsung ATA DVD/Burner Combo
Optical drives are plugged into IDE1 & IDE2 respectively.
Raptor drive was plugged into SATA1 slot which is driver by the Via controller. Samsung drive was in SATA slot2
Canoot get XP to load. I hit F6 of course to load other drivers...NO FVCKING LUCK!!! I have tried making a driver disk off the CD, downloaded from Asus's site, and from Via's site. No luck. Keeps telling me to insert the disk over and over again.
So..
I switched the drives to SATA 1 & SATA 2 on the Prmise controller. Same damn thing. I've created the driver disk for that controller at least a dozen times all the different ways.
I know I'm tired but I can't be this stupid.
