Installing Win XP, need some help/advice

If for example, my scsi card doesn't have an Win XP driver, should I try using a Win 98, Win ME or instead a Win 2k driver? I got one of those built in HPT 366 ata 66 IDE controllers on my motherboard, don't see any drivers for XP.
