Installing Win 10 x64

Hi everyone,
I have HP Pavilion DV7-3100 dual partitioned with XP and Win 7 both x32.
Can I install Win 10 x64 over Win 7?
Many thanks for any info,

You can, or you can make another partition to install Win 10 to (assuming you have room, and also assuming you don't have too many primary partitions for MBR)

Thanks Elixer, your answer "You can" answers my poorly worded post.
I was trying to ask if it was able to install an x64 on this/my computer and then whether I can update a Win7x32 to a Win10 x64. I am going to assume the two don't mix.

Thanks anyway, I would to prefer to reformat as it a new install of Win7 that I haven't really used yet and am eager to install and try the Win10.

You can try using your legitimate windows 7 key with the ms update tool and install 10. Securing the rights on your pc is first then moving to 64 bit is easy and you can use the MS media creation tool to make a 64 bit installation to do it with.

Think this bit was missed, that you are running Win7 32Bit

No you cannot Upgrade/ install over ( which I take as Upgrade) from a 32-bit to 64-bit. The only way is to do a fresh install

Now Elixir mentioned that you can install it separately and have a triple boot, weather that works between XP, 7 32-bit and 10-64 bit i am not sure
XP is the unknown

I was a hardcore win 7 user and resisted moving to 8/8.1 until I used it with classic shell and once I saw I could have my cake and eat it too I switched all my pc's over and never looked back. Once I moved everything over to it I couldn't transition to 10 fast enough and never looked back. I personally will never go back to the older os versions plus by adding CS it will have a very familiar look that you will be comfortable with.

I am installing now and just discovered something.

If you have a disc in your drive Windows 10 will give you an "error" about needing to verify boot drivers. Just remove the disc (in my case the motherboard drivers) and reboot. Everything works fine then.
