Installing Whistler Personal Build 2410

Hi,

I am trying to install this, but I cannot figure out how to make the darn thing work :|

The file size of the ISO is 135 MB (142,426,112 bytes),

and unpacked, 439 MB (460,975,506 bytes).


THERE is NO SETUP.EXE :|

Well, there is one in the root directory, but that is not for the Windows Installer.
 
I don't have Whistler but try listing all of the .exe files and you will probably be able to figure out which executible you need to run to install it.

Could someone send me the setup.exe for this?
 
eh...if Whistler is NT based, the setup file would be winnt.exe (usually followed by /b or something like that for a floppyless setup) in the i386 not setup.exe. Oh yeah and do yourself a favor and run smartdrv before doing the install 🙂
 
He is not testing! He has spoken to me about this over MSN and my theory could be that the person who posted it up for download could have been wanting to turn it into a joke. The file seems big enough to be everything so the poor guy downloads and downloads... WOW! Finished and then unzip to find that it is missing a file! Thats my theory! It was all a practical joke on the poor guy on the receiveing end!

konichiwa, I have, it is in the second or third post of this thread. But I am sure that it is a dodgy ISO. It should have been 450MB, not 130MB:|🙁

Now just a 400Mb download on 56k 😱
