I finally got my motherboard back in the mail and the new hd I ordered shows uo today. Now I plan on rebuilding my comp and doing a dualboot to try out vista. Are there any tips or things to to watch out for during the install?

Also this will be the first time in a looooonnnggg time I've done a dualboot, anything to note for that?

well for some reason, i hope you dont have a new 150gb raptor...because I cannot get Vista to install on it. It will install on the 74gb version and other drives, but stops 75% on the 150gb Raptor...other OSs can be installed on it...the drive checks out just fine...wrote all zeros...so dont know what the fuck is up with that.

Depending on the motherboard/hdd combo, Vista will sometimes throw a fit while installing. Getting drivers from your motherboard manufacturer's website solves this problem most of the time.
