I have the 64 bit ultimate burned to a dvd as a .iso, and I"m trying to upgrade my 32 bit version. I tried booting from the dvd but it's not working. Any suggestions?

Didn't really use any software, just took the DL'd file and sent it to the burner by right clicking.
The torrent version I think is a technet version, although my friend had used it and it worked for him. He said he just put in his key and it's fine.
My biggest gripe I guess is that I dropped $140 for the upgrade version for business-> ultimate, and I was hoping it would be 64 bit. It wasn't, and trying to get the 64 bit media from MS's website has led to only the option of them sending me a 32-bit cd version instead of the DVD I already have. Does that mean my key isn't valid for 64 bit? I thought all keys were valid for either version unless they were OEM?
Edit: I haven't activated my ultimate installation yet, is that why it won't give me the option of getting the 64 bit version on the MS website?

Nope, never burned an iso image before. Don't worry about offending me, I know I'm a noob at this.
