Installing Vista 64 bit Home Premium

I am trying to do a clean install of Vista 64bit Home Premium and I am running into some problems. When I get to the point where windows starts copying the data as seen on at this link: Here
(the first screenshot)
It never gets past 0% and gives me either 1 of two error messages

1. Windows Setup could not reinitialize the deployment engine. To install windows, restart the installation.

2. Windows could not set a partition active on disk 0. The error occured while preparing the computer's system volume. Error code: 0x80070450

I have the following setup if that helps
E6600 Core 2 Duo
MSI P965 Platinium Mobo
500 mb SATA Western Digital Caviar SE16
EVGA 8800 GTS
Antec NeoHe 550 ATX12V
Patriot eXtreme Performance 2gb
Lite-On 20x DVD+- R DVD Burner

I not tried updating the bios due to time so lets see if you have any ideas. Thanks.

Do you have your SATA drive set to IDE mode in the bios? Or is it set to AHCI or RAID mode? If it's not in IDE mode change it, and try again.
