Installing Ubuntu with Vista

I haven't set up a dual boot system before. I have 2 drives (C:, F🙂. Vista x64 is already installed on C: Can I install Ubuntu here as well? I want to avoid using F: since it's a backup drive. thanks

You'll need to resize C: during installation to make room for the Linux partitions, but yes it should work fine.

At the beginning of the install, Ubuntu gives you the opportunity to edit/resize you're partitions. It installs grub along with the OS, so you get a standard dual-boot.
