Installing Ubuntu on a RAID 0 configuation

Has anyone sucessfully install Ubuntu on a RAID 0 configuration. I have a nForce4 mobo and it just sees two drivers. I had to slip stream my RAID drivers for XP will I need to do the same for Ubuntu. I am using ultimate ubuntu 1.6 DVD.
 
I'm sure it's possible but it's probably a good bit of work since you're using the onboard fake-RAID crap.
