I recently purchased Nero Burning Rom 5.5 on ebay; I mainly want to use to create a bootable/slipstreamed Win XP SP2 recovery CD. Based on my research on this procedure, Nero Burning Rom is needed, not Nero Express. I also have Nero Express 6.6 installed. When Nero Express installed, it created a folder named Ahead under Program Files, and a folder name Nero under Ahead.
I realize I could uninstall Nero Express, install Nero Burning Rom, create the bootable CD, uninstall Nero Burning Rom, then reinstall Nero Express 6.6, but I think I'd rather just install Nero Burning Rom along with Nero Express 6.6 if that will cause no problems.
If I do this, I think I should specify a different folder in Program Files for the Nero Burning Rom installation. Perhaps the path could be C:\Program Files\NeroBurn\Nero\... instead of the default, which I'm assuming would be the same as for Nero Express.
Does this make sense? Will it work without problems?
