Installing two modem profiles

I'm attempting to set up another modem profile for my WIN modem, one for internet surfing and one for gaming (racing). I also have an ISA modem that I'm trying to use just for gaming. However, when I log on to my ISP (Earthlink) using either my alternate profile of my WIN modem or my ISA, after I get logged in I cannot transfer any information. I'm connected, just no data transfer. I've taken out all the strings on my gaming WIN, and have it setup up exactly like my surfing WIN profile, except I can't get them on the same COM port. So, my surfing WIN profile works, whereas my gaming WIN profile and my ISA do not. Is there another way to install an alternate profile besides simply adding another modem and having it called "Whatever Modem #2". This still doesn't explain why the ISA doesn't work. Could it be an IRQ prob, if so how do I move around the IRQ's? I've just gotten a new mobo, CPU, and power supply (fresh install of Windows 98), and had no problems adding another profile with my old equipment.

Also, another slight problem I'm having with my new setup is when Windows loads, and I see my login to network box, occasionally the computer will just reboot. My system contains:

T-Bird 800mhz
ABIT KT7 RAID mobo
New Sparkle 300W PS
128MB PC-100 RAM (64MB Corsair, 64MB generic)
Voodoo3 2000 AGP Video Card
13 gig Quantum HD
Aureal Vortex2 sound
3com US Robotics 56K Win Modem (PCI)
SupraExpress modem (ISA)
