Installing the 61.77 Drivers

Just installed the new 61.77 drivers & had a question.

1 -- In the Display Properties/GeForce6800GT tab , it still states that the 61.66 driver is installed.

2 -- But if I go into Control Panel/System/Hardware/Device Manager & click on the Display Adapter/Driver , it states the 61.77 drivers are installed .

Just wondering if it's stating the same as above on other peoples computers 🙂
 
Well that's the last time I install the new drivers over the old without removing the old first .
That's what caused the driver ver. showing up different in that one area. Just did the "basic" Add/Remove programs & all is fine now 🙂


Remember folks , always remove previous old drivers before installing new, or things like this could happen to you **LOL**
