installing SUSE 9.3

So I have SUSE 9.2 already installed on my 160, but I can't really use it cause 9.2 dones't support the x800xl. So someone told me that 9.3 does, so i downloaded the 5 CDs (DVD didn't work, only read as 189mb). Now, when I boot from CD, will it auto-select the 160 containing SUSE or will i need to specify the HDD so it doens't overwrite my 80?
