Hello,
how do I go about setting up 2 SATA drives in RAID 0 while I install Windows XP x64?

To this add that I will not have a floppy drive. I do however have a usb floppy drive from my laptop... will that work if I plug it in? If not then i might just pop in a floppy just for the installation, and then remove it.

AFAIK, I need to go into the raid setup utility, and make the array. Then when I run the Windows installation, and it asks me for RAID/SCSI drivers, do I install the sata drivers first, or do I install the RAID first? I have never installed both at once :p so I dont know what to do... I would like to do this once, and correctly.

Thanks to every1 in advance.

Fist you need to make the Raid (through the raid bios) then you can install windows to it. I personally have no clue if a USB floppy will work however there is another solution. Go and google nLite. Download, and then slipstream your raid drivers right into the Windows CD. It's a great tool. It is what I use.

For future reference.. .Search for the utility "nlite".. Nforce could be tricky if you are installing from a diff SATA adapter using a SATA DVD (ie plextor).. Had to load the Sil drivers for my mobo from floppy and slipstream hybrid NVRAID drives onto my xp64 pro cd.
