I've got Win98SE installed and running. When I set up partitions, I made c:\ drive 2000MB, created a 6000MB logical partition in the extended DOS drive, then created a 21GB logical partition to use up the remaining drive space. After installing Windows and configuring it the way I wanted, I went back into FDISK and deleted the 6000MB logical drive in the extended DOS drive. This was going to be used for the Linux disk space.
However, when I try to use Disk Druid to allocate the unused space, it refers to the existing FAT32 volumes as hda1 and hda6, assigns hda7 thru 10 for my linux partitions, and insists that I define mount points for hda1 and 6, the two FAT partitions that I'm using for Windows. And I looked at the mount point choices available to use for mount points for the FAT partitions - they were the usual Linux partition mount points.
Am I going to have to use fdisk, the Linux version? If so, are there any online instructions I can follow. Obviously, I'm very much a Linux newbie, and any and all help will be appreciated!
