Installing RAID drivers Win 7 off a flash drive?

Sry for the noob question. I have never done RAID before but with those F3's for $49 I think it's time to bite. My ASUS manual says I need a USB "Floppy Drive." I assume I can load the drivers off of any USB flash drive, correct? Anyone done this on W7?

Also I plan to do a Windows Backup, install the RAID 0 array, then restore from from the backup onto the array. Will this get dicey with the driver install? Does that require a fresh Windows reinstall or is there some way to load those drivers while doing a restore from a CD restore disk?

Any advice greatly appreciated.
