Installing original drivers vs current ones

I will be installing my new MB. If I use the installation disk to install all drivers what method should I use to update the new drivers which I have.

Why not download the new drivers now, burn them to CD and not worry about the originals?

use the CD to load the LAN driver, then download the rest from the mobos web site.
