I've tried installing NT 4.0 on this old comp so I may use it as a proxy. I deleted the old primary partition, then created a new Primary Dos partition, and then I formated the C: drive. After this, I followed the NT 4.0 (dos) setup instructions and figured everything was going just fine, until it started searching for mass storage devices. It only detected the cd-rom drive, and it doens't detect my Hard drive
From what I wrote, am I missing a step somewhere? Maybe I should delete the partition and run the setup again? (i've installed win95 on this system, so the hard drive works fine, the nt setup just won't find it - maybe it's because of the two different file systems, ntfs/fat32?) I'd appreciate any help, since I'd really like to get nt on this lowly p75 (o/c'ed to 90mhz w/ 16megs of ram.)
