Installing New Motherboard...Red Light (D14)?

I just tried installing my old components on a new motherboard (Abit SH6) and new case (Fong Kai FK-320). Unfortunately, the stupid thing refuses to power on.

When I plug in the ATX power supply, a red light (labeled D14) turns on at the bottom right of the motherboard. I press the power switch, but nothing. The power LED stays a faint green color no matter what the position of the switch.

I tried another power supply, it did the same thing.

All the pieces (video, HD, CPU, Ram) are good because I transfered them into the old case, and am using it now.

My question is, what the hell is this red light? I figure it's trying to tell me something. I looked throughout the manual and Abit website to no avail. Apparently, the board is getting power, or the light wouldn't be on.

Do I know for sure it's the board? It seems I eliminated everything else.

It's called a Flea Power Light.

ATX motherboards after a certain ATX revision (2.03?) ALWAYS get power from the power supply to enable features such as Wake On Lan/Wake On Modem. All this light is for is to indicate that there's power going to the motherboard. It's more of a warning than anything else.

No, it's not a diagnostic feature beyond letting you know you have the board plugged in and it's getting power. Make sure the power switch is plugged into the motherboard correctly?

Update:

I took the motherboard out of the case and tried to start it on a non-conducting surface.

The red light still comes on...the computer doesn't start.
