My new sound card will be at my house tomorrow and I was wondering what i need to do to successfully install this piece of hardware. Do i need to disable my onboard sound, if so, where do I do this at?
 
Install the card and then boot up the system and go into the bios. Under the genie bios options look through them and and you will find the option to disable the onboard sound. Once you've done this boot into windows and install the drivers for the card and your set.
